Windows and Words
Windows and words are like voices unheard
- They return to us late in the night
Eyes, like the sky, - tell tales that don’t lie
And are windows to our "weather" within
For though wearing a smile, - "lions" will prowl
‘Till they catch the weak in the game!
But an honest man
Never seeks ours for his own
Like a breath of fresh air
He's welcome where
Things of true value are loved
He’s like God's own Son
Who made of Himself, - no reputation
If we also would seek, - to be just as “weak”
- How better would society function!
