The Well by the Way

Life’s like a village of dry, and thirsty people
But a solution's been provided, and it’s really simple
It's found in the crossroads of our busy streets
There's a well by the way, where God's Spirit speaks
But few venture near for the fear their darkness brings
For Christ is the light from which all evil shrinks
So they wander off and say they'll "find another well"
But He's the only one on earth, - that doesn’t "spring" from hell!
