An Island of Peace

There's an island of peace within my soul
A shelter from life when the cold wind blows
My high rock of safety from ruthless foes
Like a hidden secret that no one knows
Comforter, Counselor, Friend and Guide
For You Lord, are one who cannot lie
Fear falls away when I come to You
And I'm reassured You'll see me through
Our friendship is sweet, conversation's dear
And I come away with a mind that's clear
Clear and certain, with a righteous resolve
Content that You'll never let me fall
