Destroyed by Your Life-Giving Love

I'm thankful for things
You've taken from me
Thankful You wouldn't just let me be
I'm thankful life's changing and so am I
That You're shaping and molding me
Though I complain and cry
I'm thankful for the truth you've let me see
While I witness Your meeting my daily needs
I'm thankful Your love's invaded my heart
That You are the one thing that sets me apart
And one day You'll take me to Your home above
Once my defects are destroyed, - by Your life-giving love!
