When Our King Returns

There's coming a day when our King will return
To gather His bride once she's overcome
Overcome her sin, and the fear of her foes
And made herself ready for her new role
For the King will rule, from New Jerusalem
Where all nations will come to honor Him
The earth made anew, perfect and blessed
Where we'll rule and reign, in a world at rest
And death will have died, there shall be no war
And the lion, the lamb, shall fear no more
And all who have dared to serve Jesus now
Will reap great rewards and drink from God's fount
And praise shall arise like a breeze to the King
As He shines in all, and from everything
No need for the Sun or the Moon we once knew
And the sea and the surf will have vanished too
And Jerusalem, fifteen hundred miles square
Shall be filled with God's saints, who honor Him there
It's not "Pie in the Sky," or the dream of a fool
But what the Lord's promised, - to me and you!
Yes, a wonderful world, waits to be born
When the clouds roll away, and our King returns!

"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come
quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Amen." Revelation 22 : 20, 21 KJV
