God Makes Movies

God makes lots of movies
Each for an audience of one
And each actor has two cameras
If we’ll just turn them on
Then truth starts rolling
And glistens from our eyes
When we see evil’s victims
- And we see them die
But if we’ll act to help them
And offer them our hand
The drama plays out before us
Just the way God planned
He’s the Author and Director
No matter what some say
And if we take our cues from Him
Wisdom comes our way
Then when the last show’s over
And all the lights go out
He’ll take us home to Glory
- Where no sadness is allowed!
